The ads for Andrew Yang has been running for about 3 weeks now, and we are reaching a lot of people on a very tight budget. The results you see so far were achieved for less than $100.
While the large number of impressions and views are nice, I would like to direct your attention to the earned views as well. These are the people who decided to immediately find out more about Andrew Yang on the Savvy Progress channel. This means that these (potentially) new members of the Yang Gang came in at roughly $0.50 per person.
That is tremendous value for money if you ask me, even without adding the value of 278,000 people essentially seeing a “billboard” of Andrew Yang.
This graph shows the relative audience retention rate of the ad “Andrew Yang’s Vision for America”, and while the numbers are good for such a long ad, I want to produce a few new and shorter ads that are tailored towards specific demographics.
I hope to be able to find the time to finish the first video in August and the second in September. The plan going forward is to keep a collective ad budget and allocate funds according to effectiveness – assuming that there is a budget to allocate.
The first 10 days of August has seen no new donations, and even with a modest max burn rate of $12/day, it won’t be long before this ad campaign is stopped because of a lack of funds. As always, I will keep you up to date in the sidebar tracker.
